Outlook had an interesting report on startups in India, saying that of the approximately 10000 startups in India approximately 4500 are tech related startups, connected to the internet and tech sector in one way or another.
Compared to 2015, 2016 many of these startups are facing problems, according to the outlook report, and for an online business owner , ntro is largely responsible for the problems as the selfish, greedy and extremely powerful ntro employees are interfering too much in the online businesses
Just because the online business owner is not good looking or young or charming enough, the ntro employees want to force the business owner to give a stake to their lazy greedy inexperienced mediocre fraud relatives, friends, sex partners and associates
The ntro employees are getting a good monthly salary from the indian government, pension after retirement, and no one is stopping them or their associates from starting a similar business with the information they have gathered keeping the business owner under surveillance
However the ntro employees are insisting that only their associates should head the startup which is not advisable, as their associate may too mediocre, inexperienced, lazy, risk averse to run a successful online business and may not be interested. To do well in a particular business, a person has to be interested enough, especially in an online business, where technology is changing, and competition worldwide
For example, google, tata have got 10 lazy mediocre fraud goan sex workers, cheater housewives and other frauds lucrative R&AW/CBI/indian intelligence jobs with monthly salary falsely claiming that they are domain investors, when none of these women are interested in domain names at all and have never registered a single domain name despite getting a monthly government salary for 3 years or more
Yet the fraud ntro employees are not giving up their unpractical ideas of identity theft, and are wasting indian tax payer money.
Increasingly ordering food from outside the home has become a risky affair for domain investors because indian intelligence and security agencies , especially the associates of google, tata sponsored goan obc bhandari sex queen R&AW employee sunaina chodnekar, 2013 bsc are poisoning the food with sophisticated additives which cause health problems. In the sheena bora murder case, a similar problem was noticed by sheena bora’s brother , and it was confirmed that security and intelligence agency employees are freelancing as contract killers
So for a person who has plenty of powerful enemies like sheena bora’s brother, it is not very advisable to order food online, as their enemies may be monitoring the food being ordered, and may ask the person preparing the food to poison or tamper with the food, to create health problems.
However most indian citizens can order the food online without any major problem, as no one is bothered about what they are doing.
Most retailers are only stocking a very limited range of food products depending on the funds available and demand for the food product, so a customer may find it difficult to get a supplier for a food item he or she is interested in purchasing. In such cases, they may order the food item online.
However there is always a risk that for the food item ordered online, packaging may be tampered or damaged during transportation
According to complaints online, some of the food products sold are past their expiry date, or close to their expiry date. However some of online retailers are claiming that these complaints are usually small in number.
So those with powerful enemies should avoid ordering food items online.
A few years ago, there were a large number of startups which allowed indian internet users to order from restaurants in their city online. These startups would charge the restaurant a commission on each order the restaurant would receive online. Most of food ordering startups were funded by venture capitalists flush with funds and made huge losses initially.
Some of them got a publicity in the mainstream media for a number of reasons, like coupons which allowed people to order and get food from restaurants free of cost, and for firing their employees . The startups which were making losses like tinyowl.com were merged with other online firms like runnr.in . Others like foodpanda , swiggy continue to be in business, however these apps are mainly popular in large cities like mumbai, delhi, bengaluru
As it becomes increasingly clear that the companies overestimated the indian online market, the number of food related startups has declined drastically in the last few years.
While the TinyOwl saga was well documented in the mainstream media , some of the other food related startups which failed (according to a report in Outlook Magazine) are:
There is a lot of competition in the market, and these startups also did not understand the indian internet market well enough
